Sue Gauthier-Pin, MA, MFT-Associate

Sue is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in California who specializes in integrative expressive arts therapy. She graduated from California State University Long Beach in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2015.

For the past 10 years, Sue has worked with children, teens, adults and families in community mental health, addiction recovery, and educational settings. Her eclectic approach to psychotherapy combines depth, relational and positive psychologies, evidence-based practices, neuroscience, and creative expression. Sue enjoys working with folks who identify as being highly sensitive, creative, philosophical and is a friend and ally to the LGBTQ community. She specializes in helping those who are struggling with grief and loss, codependency, addiction, relational and spiritual trauma, creative blocks, life transitions, depression and anxiety.

Sue is also a Life Coach and owns her own business, Magnolia Moon Healing Arts. In addition, she serves on the Board of the Long Beach/South Bay CAMFT chapter as Vice President of Hospitality and runs groups for women at Rising Roads Recovery in Fountain Valley.
