Margaret Mack, MA, Associate PCC

Margaret Mack is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor from Hermosa Beach, CA who specializes in working with children and their parents, from early childhood through young adulthood. She graduated from University of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Early Childhood Education, and received her masters in Mental Health Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in 2017.

For more than a decade, Margaret has worked in various capacities with children and their families, including time spent as a camp counselor, preschool teacher, and school-based clinical counselor. She approaches therapy through both a client-centered and Gestalt play therapy lens and believes that there is immense power in giving children the space to be fully seen and heard. Through her work, she aims to help clients not only heal from past pain and trauma but to strengthen their sense of self and empower them to grow and cope in healthy ways.  (BBS Associate #4981, Supervised by Susan Schlag LMFT)
