Solomon Singer, MA, MFT-Associate

Solomon A. E. Singer is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate from Santa, Monica, CA, who focuses on athletes, and families. He graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, followed by his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California.
Singer has dedicated over a decade’s work to the Hoop Masters Basketball Academy specializing in skill-building, performance enhancement and reducing performance anxiety on and off the basketball court. As a sports coordinator, he’s guided student-athletes through physical activities, provision of support via positive reinforcement, and facilitation of networking opportunities for coaches, parents, and athletes. In addition, he has acted as a youth development advocate through in-home support to low SES youth in order to reduce gang affiliation risk factors by improving family relationships, academic performance, self -efficacy and mental health. As a certified sexual assault crisis counselor, Singer has honed his skills in working with trauma and abuse.

Singer is a proponent of mindfulness healing, cognitive behavioral therapy and working from a psychodynamic lens. As a former student-athlete, he is passionate about celebrating all wins, big or small, and learning from all losses. His zeal for continuous success and passionate spirit has allowed him to influence over 500 athletes. When not in the office, he is giving back to communities through his Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, donating time to the Dora Nelson African American Art and History Museum as a volunteer and continues his professional growth as a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT).
